Ashley, Isabella and I went on a nature hike to collect fall leaves, and bark rubbings and just because. Brandon had a soccer game which is right on the grounds of the old State Hospital. So, I decided to grab stuff for the girls and we walked around looking at the leaves and finding the different kinds. They have a huge chart of the trees on the ground, and it tells which kind is which. Kinda neat. Not to mention seeing the old buildings that are getting a facelift, and being turned into something neat. :)

It has been awhile...

I never was very good at keeping a written journal. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I can't keep up with a typed one either. We have not been up to too many exciting things. Isabella had her field trip to the pumpkin patch. I took pictures, but still need to work on the whole photography thing. Lately, I have been working too many hours, and have too many things scheduled. Monday is soccer practice (Brandon), Tuesday is tennis (all 3), Wednesday is gymnastics (Isabella), Thursday is Ballet (Isabella), and choir (Ashley) and Brandon has soccer games on Saturday. Though we only have one more week of soccer (YAY). Tennis ended this week and none of the kids wanted to sign up for the next lesson, and Gymnastics is off til November. We do have to fit in Soccer practice on Monday and a game either on Tues. or Thurs. But the first half week of November/last of October will be nice and slow. Only ballet. Then come mid November Ashley and Brandon will have basketball on Monday and Wednesdays, and Isabella gymnastics on Wed, Ballet on Thurs. And maybe less than a handful of choir practices. Busy Busy. Then add in 40 hours of work, preparing for a craft show on Sat. the 27th of October, and a fall swap package to be sent by Nov. 2nd. I am drained. Okay and I seem to be rambling on :) I am really just waiting for pictures to upload to flickr, so I can put one or two on here. They are of Isabella at the pumpkin patch. One she is holding the pumpkin she picked, and the other cradling a fresh egg while watching the chickens, hens and a peacock. The egg was layed that morning by one of the ones in that little hen house. Okay, I may have to do it seperately.
