I signed up for the awesome-ly cool Jessica Sprague class that she was offering for free!!!

I am really excited for it. It started this week, and I have most of my printouts printed! I need to buy the binder, and also some more cardstock, then I can finish printing and get to work. She even offers a few free tutorials and downloads on her site. I printed the Thankful pages for a mini book, and can't wait to put that together. I am going to take some pictures at thanksgiving to add to the book. It would be fun to print the pages yearly and then make one big book with them together.
I took some time off work last week, and I am so grateful that I did. I got a lot of cleaning and sorting done. Many, many bags are ready to head to Goodwill. I did a lot of sewing as well. I made Isabella a scarf out of some linen and some other fabrics to match this ballerina fabric I bought for her. It was so incredibly simple to make the scarves! I even searched for more cute fabrics in my stash, and cut out 5 more scarves {fronts and backs} and sewed the strips together. I need to cut the batting and sew the front and the bag together and voila, christmas presents for my 2 neices, and 2 nephews and my other daughter. I need to buy some more specific fabric for my son, because I am sure he won't wear anything that I already have in my stash! I gave Isabella her scarf this weekend so she could wear it when we went to see the Nutcracker! I even whipped up a matching bag. If I can get it away from her, I will take some pictures!
It is so hard to believe it already mid-November. This week is school conferences for the girls, and Thanksgiving dinner with some friends. Next week, my little boy turns NINE!!!!!
